Need-based Scholarship Opportunities

Synova Associates is proud to highlight the incredible and generous support of our Professional Education Partners: March of Dimes, Abbott Nutrition Health Institute, and the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. As a group, they support your leadership development by serving on the Planning Committee, sharing needed products and services, and by offering scholarships to ensure you are able to attend! This year, they will collectively be providing 12 need-based tuition scholarships! We are grateful for their investment of time, energy and financial support.

This year, Synova Associates will also provide a special scholarship. Besides the Spirit Award Tuition Scholarship, Synova will provide one FULL scholarship that includes tuition and $1500 to cover hotel and travel expenses. All scholarship applications will be evaluated through a blind process and are treated confidentially.

Click here for the Scholarship Application for the scholarships given and administered by Synova Associates (includes the Synova full scholarship and the 6 Professional Education Partner scholarships). All scholarships are chosen through a blind process based on need only.

NANN, also a Professional Education Partner since the beginning, will provide five main conference tuition scholarships for the 2015 NICU Leadership Forum. Please visit http://www.nann.org/ for more information about eligibility and to download a scholarship application. These scholarships will be administered directly by NANN.

Applicants may apply for all scholarships, if eligible, but no applicant will receive more than one scholarship. Past 2014 winners of the scholarships are not eligible to win.

Need-based applicants must:

  • Currently hold the position of Director or Manager of a NICU, PICU or C/VICU
  • Submit completed application by February 6th. (Announcement by February 20th) Confidential applications to be submitted via email only to schapman@synovaassociates.com

If you have applied for a scholarship and plan to attend the 2015 NICU Leadership Forum, please register for the conference. We want to be sure there is space available for you!

Please also remember that you should nominate a leader who has impacted you professionally for the March of Dimes Dr. Jennifer L Howse Excellence in NICU Leadership Award. Click here for more about this prestigious award.
