Synova Associates Supports March for Babies

Plymouth MA (April 28, 2017) – Synova Associates, the founding organization of the nationally recognized NICU Leadership Forum, now in its 21st year, co-hosted the March of Dimes March for Babies® to celebrate the commitment these two organizations have made towards NICU leadership. The March for Babies event also marks a long-standing professional partnership Synova and the March of Dimes have had for the last eight years.

On Thursday, April 27, 2017 more than 100 people walked the grounds of the Wigwam Resort, Phoenix, AZ in unison, during the NICU Leadership Forum to show their support and commitment to continuously improving medical care and health of babies.

“Our attendees are health care leaders who, in addition to their demanding professional schedule as NICU leaders, are very involved in state and community non-profit initiatives,” said Chrissy Burke, Partner, Synova.

The conference brings together neonatal leaders from all over the country to share best practices, discuss cutting edge topics, examine innovative new products and ideas, and network with other managers and directors.

“We determined that this was the ideal venue for a March for Babies. It’s an annual event, held at the same time every year. In the past, some Key people were unable to attend Synova’s NICU forum because it conflicted with our signature fundraiser,” said Susan Clifford, Director, NICU Innovation for the March of Dimes. “This year, we decided to combine March for Babies with the conference and as a result, had an overwhelming positive response.”

“The March of Dimes has more than 3 million volunteers and we want to especially thank Synova Associates and the NICU leaders for coming together during this offsite event to show their support for our mission.” added Clifford.

Synova Associates has been developing and conducting the NICU Leadership Forum, an annual conference designed specifically for professional nurse leaders in neonatal intensive care settings since 1996. Synova Associates also manages the Perinatal Leadership forum, several on-site programs and offers consulting services on a wide array of topics and leadership needs.

Nearly 500 March for Babies events will take place all across the United States, with most occurring this spring. Thousands of individuals and hundreds of companies across the country get involved. For more information and to register, visit marchforbabies.org.
