2022 NICU LEADERSHIP FORUM
Over 150 Neonatal nurse leaders gathered together in April 2022 to find a path for reflection and mindfulness, and a path toward our team’s (and our own) recovery at the 26th annual NICU Leadership Forum. Conference sessions covered topics including rebuilding nurse leadership for the future, holding yourself and your team accountable, and creating a model to improve employee engagement and turnover.

This pre-conference session will address the business case for empathy to mitigate burnout and turnover. It will involve exploring the patient’s experience using the lens of equity, how to develop and maintain professional relationships while being equitable and inclusive, and the impact of bias and racism on maternal and neonatal care outcomes.
