Beyond the observation and idea that discharge could look different, Paul and the Patients First Products team knew that a product meant to support nurses and families needed user input and feedback, especially from nurses. Patients First Products worked closely with nurses during the prototype phase, gathering feedback on everything from handle design to wheel performance. Nurses requested:

The answer is practical: the discharge carts occupy approximately the same footprint as a wheelchair and can be nested together when not in use. They are designed to fit through standard doorways, elevators, and hospital corridors.
