Jane Smallcomb

Jane is the Senior Nursing Director for the Perinatal Service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In this role, she has oversight of the perinatal program which includes 5000 deliveries/year with an active high-risk maternal-fetal medicine service, a 47 bed NICU and a well-established multi-disciplinary care model focused on family centered care. Jane has over 40 years of neonatal clinical and leadership experience. Jane is passionate about the perinatal patient family experience, quality improvement initiatives and improving outcomes for critically-ill infants. Jane received a BSN from Salem State College and a Master of Science in Management from Emmanuel College. Jane is an active member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses, the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Organization of Nurse Leaders.
